More About Robinson Produce Farms

Robinson Produce Farms,
located in Bolton, North Carolina is a fourth generation farm started by John Robinson in the mid-20th Century.  He and his son, David, grew tobacco and grain crops for more than thirty years.  David’s son, Jerry developed an interest in growing produce at a young age and began selling local produce to retail stores in nearby Wilmington, NC while still in middle school.  By 1985, Jerry had started a roadside stand underneath the large Live Oak tree at the farm’s road frontage on NC Hwy. 211.

Today, Robinson Produce Farms is 140 acres much of which is double-cropped in mixed vegetables including watermelons, strawberries, and greens.
